RBS Williams F1 Day

Totally agree! Much fun was had by all...going on the simulator for a 2nd time to improve my time was definitely my highlight. It was also good to share Bright Futures stories with other Bright Futures committee members, especially concerning the Careers Centre problem...as each University's is different...sometimes they want to get involved with what you do and with others they are just not interested- the key is perseverance, as you don't need them, although it does help to have their support. We're meeting with ours this morning, so fingers crossed we can work a little bit wth them...put up posters there and in return we will mention them at our events and possibly add their name to our events posters? We shall see. The food was also wicked- chicken goujons, plus an awesome Crème brûlée for dessert!! Was great meeting all who went. Good luck!! Gemma, Birmingham Bright Futures co-President

How to engage with and excite the best graduate talent. Meet with them face to face not just virtually - do some thing different - make it fun - make it informative and follow up! Well done RBS

I certainly had a fun rewarding day, getting to meet all the other Bright Futures Presidents was certainly worth while. Everyone was extremely cool and laid back yet focused on making sure student members gained the best out of their Bright Futures society. The RBS president's training day was a great opportunity for me to meet other presidents and committee members, and provided an excellent setting for the sharing of ideas and experiences as well as the chance to forge friendships with other societies. I think RBS did a fantastic job of mixing career and information sessions with fun, and the formula one aspect was the cherry on the sundae for me! I really enjoyed having a go in the simulator even though I was crashing every few seconds! and the whole setting was relaxed and inspiring at the same time. It was a very positive experience and I now have a more informed view of career opportunities at RBS, greater insight towards company aims and objectives and lots of respect for all F1 racers :)

What an amazing day!!!!!! I had so much fun and would like to thank RBS for hosting the event. I also learnt a lot about the company itself. It was great to meet other Bright Futures committee members and I'd like to thank those who gave me advice on all sorts of aspects of running a committee :-D

It was brilliant. Being able to have a go on a real F1 simulator was something special, and it was great to meet other committee members from all around the country. Thanks to both RBS and Bright Futures for organising it.
