Things changed in 2006…
In 2006 CRAC approached Simon Reichwald, of national recruitment leader Graduate Success, to assume the role of new director, in order to take the organisation forward. Since he took over, the organisation has been developing at an impressive speed, bringing on new Corporate and Student Members.
So what’s new?
Our re-brand is all part of appealing to a broader base of students; giving our not-for-profit organisation the universal appeal it deserves - and demonstrating the national commitment there is to its members.
The Bright Futures Society Ltd is now a world away from what was originally perceived as purely an 'industrial' society and the new-look brand and website reflect the diversity of what’s on offer, for both students and employers.
Long live Bright Futures!
We also have a full-time national team supporting us, as well as dedicated Bright Futures Committees all over the country. This allows us to stage more national and regional training events, conferences and competitions.
All this gives our Corporate partners more access to students than ever before and allows our Student Members to develop their skills even further.
So it’s all been very exciting!
What next?
We are going to get bigger, much bigger. We are making it easier for students at universities without a Bright Futures society to launch their own. We are also getting more employers involved at more events, all over the country.
And we want more sponsors. We are building our student base all the time and with it the opportunities for companies to engage with them.
