Bright Futures (formerly known as the Student Industrial Society or SIS) is a student-led society, focused on helping students maximise their employability skills through year-round collaboration with industry.
SIS was started in 1975 by a group of students at Cambridge University who were keen to develop their commercial awareness and their portfolio of transferable skills. After initial success at Cambridge, the group of students approached ‘The Industrial Society’ for some more formal support. The Industrial Society set up a network of similar societies at a number of universities across the country and the society was born!
We now work with graduate employers, students and other partners , coaching undergraduates not only in the skills to get the job, but the skills they need to excel in their chosen career.
All Bright Futures Societies are coordinated by a full-time national team. This national team works closely with top employers to give students the best chance of securing the best jobs. By the time these students become graduates, they are commercially aware and ready for work! CLICK HERE TO FIND OUT MORE >>...
